The flag of the United Kingdom consists in a red cross with white edges superimposed on the cross of St.Patrick is formed when the flag of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, however , is not represented in the Union Flag by Wale's patron Saint. St. David as at the time when the flag was designed, Wales was part of the kingdom of England.
