Do you think its okay for Muslim girls to wear scarfs?

Have you heard that story about a woman who worked in Abercrombie and Fitch in California and because she wore a scarf she got fired. I mean whats so bad about it. Its not hurting you? It not hurting me. There are strippers for example walking around naked and some people waling around in malls and subways who wear clothes as if there at a semi nude beach and thats inappropriate for kids. And then this women just covers herself and people make a big deal.
