I would say yes, but the way i see it may not be the way you would envision it. Due to there size and dependency with one another, I actually see the EU becoming a single country. As the EU, i doubt you will ever get your freedom. As the UAE (United States of Europe maybe) your relationship will be similar to the relationship between Virginia and West Virginia
