Horse lessons/experience NSW Australia?

I'm guessing it would be similar to victorian prices. Usually about $40-$60 depending on the length of the lesson and the amount of students in the class. This is just the riding school closest to where I live and it's so expensive because it is, I guess, a private school version of riding schools.. It does get pretty expesive esp. considering you have to buy your own gear if you want to continue riding as they usually won't loan out gear after 4 or 5 lessons :( I had to pay for my own riding lessons and gear because my parents don't really want me riding as they know how dangerous it is although it is safer than driving a car I must say...
