As an American, is my place to support Republican and independence movements in your countries?

Now, I am not saying that I believe the American armed forces should invade and throw the Queen out of Island. But on personal level, I support a free Wales, a free Scotland and a free Ireland. Free from the chains of the crown. Free to choose their own aspirations and not have the Head of State and her family be above that law. Since they are human just like you and me, they are no better then us.
